DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Gathering for Women’s second annual Art Fair again features more than 100 works of art made by both local professional artists and the homeless women we serve. Proceeds from the sale of art from professional artists will help fund GFW’s day-to-day operations\, while the proceeds from sales of GFW guests’ art will go directly to each individual artist. Last year’s Art Fair raised more than $3\,200 to support GFW operations and $1\,200 for our guests. \nTo view and purchase artwork\, CLICK HERE. \nThe artwork made by our guests shows their versatility\, bravery\, and amazing talents. All paintings were created on the premises at Gathering for Women during our bi-monthly three-hour painting workshops. The vast majority of our guests had not painted since kindergarten. They remembered the joy of creativity\, mixing colors\, and the focus and peace it brings to one’s mind.
