Next Step Case Management
Our Case Management Program is called Next Step. Every guest must enroll in this program to begin their journey with us. It’s an intensive case management program where we establish case plans and refer our guests to outside organizations and other professional services in the community. We then collectively form a support system for our guests to successfully accomplish their goals.
Services and referrals include:
- Social services and benefits
- Emergency assistance
- Psychiatric services
- Substance abuse resources
- Trauma recovery services
- Legal guidance
- Credit and financial consulting
- Educational services / opportunities
- Life skills training
- Computer skills
- Employment / placement opportunities
CASE MANAGEMENT HOURS
9:30 AM – 1:00 PM Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Health & Wellness Services
In addition to Case Management, our guests can participate in Wellness programs such as art journaling classes, meditation, and group sessions led by a licensed professional. We also offer medical and dental services on-site once per month through a community partner.
Services include:
- Nutritious, home cooked meals
- Clean bathrooms and showers
- Clothing closet
- Basic medical / dental care
- Health education workshops
- Safe place to rest, relax and socialize with other women
- Transportation vouchers
- Healing arts
- Computer corner

Hot Lunch: Monday – Thursday 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Bag Lunch: Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Weekend Bag Lunch: Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Housing Navigation
As guests progress along their personal pathway out of homelessness, they can transition into our Housing Navigation program. This comprehensive program provides our guests the tools and support needed to find housing when they are ready and to maintain a safe and stable housing situation once they are housed.
Services include:
- CARS Assessments
- Referrals to Emergency and Temporary Shelter
- Housing Voucher Application assistance*
- Housing search assistance
- Housing application assistance
- Deposit assistance**
- Rental assistance**
*Please note: GFW does not provide Housing Vouchers. Our Housing Navigation program can assist with referrals to organizations that provide vouchers and completing necessary forms.
